True Love


‘Love’ was always a word that confused Sarah. Having never witnessed true love ever, she always thought it was something that could only be seen in movies.

In her growing years, when life unrolled its true self, she started thinking that two people were together only because of either social boundations or because of need.

She always thought that she was not capable enough to love someone deeply. This was what her brain had convinced her, ever since the time she came to the understand the meaning of love.

But her heart always said that there will be someone-one person, who will make her understand the true meaning & depth of the word love and that someone will make her break all the boundaries and all the self imposed rules that she had made just so that she doesn't get hurt.

All the 23 years of her life, her eyes kept searching for that someone. Almost every other guy that she met was not of the kind that she wanted, and if at all there was someone she could feel good about- the feeling never lasted beyond two days. So she was almost sure that she was never going to find her Mr. Perfect.

But when it happened, it was just the way her heart had always told her- slowly and gradually! That too with the person she had never expected to fall in love with!

Now that he was in her life, every cell in her body knew that it was him and only him that her heart was ever going to love. Such was his effect that her mind could not think about anyone else, let alone be romancing someone else.

She had finally realized that emotional relations were one of the strongest relations of the world.
The way his face was now imprinted on her soul, she knew that she’ll never be able to take it out of her. She now knew that they were just two different bodies having one soul. It just felt like that!

Such was his effect on her that whatever she did, however good the other guy was, her heart simply rejected to take anyone else in!

She realized that true love is such that it keeps growing more and more by every passing day.
The powers of love were now being revealed to her and it was so much surprising that she was finding herself in the midst of all this!

It was all happening just the way her heart had always said.

She did not have to find the definitions of love anymore, because it was clearly evident from all the happenings of her own life.

The strangest happenings were that she was now able to see the world from his eyes, and her heart always told her that he was right.

She had a reason to back him all the time. She totally experienced the power of love when she was not able to detach him from her ever, however hard she tried.

The voice of her heart was clear & loud in her mind and whatever she did to shut it up, she was not be able to win it. In the end, it was always she who lost the battle and her heart always won!

There were times when she was so angry with him that she was not at all interested in talking to him, but she used to suppress her anger and save it for another time, simply because she knew that he needed her at that time. That if she left him at that time, it’d hurt him even more. 

Suddenly she was wondering why she was thinking about him first! N why not about the pain that her choice would give her!

Even if it took all her courage to just look at him, she was ready to do everything possible to make him happy.

It was the time when she knew that even if she breaks all contact with him, she will never be able to stop herself from loving him.

That’s why she just decided to let it be, she left it all on time! She made herself ready to accept whatever destiny had in store for her- pain or happiness!

There wasn't much she could do anyway- it was not by choice that she had fallen in love! It was destiny that had brought it to her, so she left it for destiny to choose the ending too.

She could now truly understand the meaning of the world famous saying- “The most beautiful things of the world cannot be seen by the eyes, they can only be felt.”

Love can do wonders, and maybe that is why it is said that true love cannot be found easily. Love can show you your inner depths and make you realize things of a lifetime.

Love is a very special feeling. Close your eyes and feel that person. You’ll know that there is this one person who you will love all your life, without any complains and without any demands.

Queen: The modern face of Indian women

All the status updates and reviews of Queen movie literally compelled me to watch the movie. So as I started with the movie, I told myself that by the end of it I’ll have something really good to remember. But I found the first few scenes to be very weird!
